The apartment has a spacious open-plan kitchen, living and dining area which opens onto the balcony, from where there are distant views along the Wye Valley. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a built-in electric oven, induction hob and fridge freezer. There's also a kettle, a toaster, and a good selection of cookware, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
There's a circular oak dining table and four chairs, a comfortable three seater sofa an easy chair and a coffee table. For entertainment there's wifi internet access, a smart tv with built-in dvd player, a Bose Soundwave music player to connect to your phone or tablet, and a DAB radio.
There are two bedrooms. The rear one is the smaller of the two, and has a double bed and a chair. The front bedroom has a kingsize bed, chest of drawers, and an en-suite shower room with loo and wash basin. Both bedrooms have clock radios and bedside lighting. The main bathroom, which has a bath with shower over, loo and wash basin, is adjacent to the rear bedroom.
Accessibility: The entrance door to Millbank has a ramp, and the first floor can be accessed either via stairs. There are no steps from the lift to the entrance to the apartment, or within the apartment itself.
Step out of the front door and explore Hay-on-Wye. Browse its interesting and eclectic shops, find fresh local produce on the market (every Thursday), eat and drink in the hostelries, cafés and restaurants and take in the sights of this picturesque borders town.
